Reading the Bible for morality is like digging through shit for sweetcorn. Sure, there’s a little there but is it really worth it?

Oh, I feel the Christian outrage. “The Bible is the source and basis for all morality”, I hear them whine. I have but two things to say to that: killing babies and keeping slaves. Your God approves of both those things.
